Oral Hygiene

Soft Tissue Management(STM)

Soft tissue management(STM) is an organized system for early detection, diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of periodontal disease, and also for the early detection of oral cancer. STM is a non-surgical approach to diagnose, prevent, treat and manage the progression of early to moderate stages of periodontal disease in a general practice.

ViziLite Plus with TBlue®

ViziLite Plus with TBlue® is the leading oral cancer screening system that was developed to help oral healthcare professionals identify, evaluate, monitor and mark abnormal oral lesions suspicious for pathology including precancerous cells and cancer that may be difficult to see during a regular visual exam.

Rotadent® Plus

Rotadent® Plus uses proprietary MicroAccess filament brush tips to reach below the gum line and between teeth for unsurpassed cleaning action. Rotadent® Plus provides the clinical features you rely on to achieve optimal oral health for your patients with updated features your patients desire for ease of use.

Tooth Decay Prevention

During preventive care visits, our dentists and dental hygienists will examine your teeth for signs of decay. The hygienist, who specializes in the cleaning and maintenance of teeth and gums, will remove any tartar, hardened plaque also known as calculus that has accumulated on your teeth.

Scaling and Root Planning

Scaling and root planning is one of the most effective ways to treat gum disease before it becomes severe. Root planning and scaling cleans between the gums and the teeth down to the roots. Dental hygienists will use an ultrasonic tool and hand instruments for the planing and scaling. Scaling and root planning is considered the basic treatment of periodontal diseases and may be the only treatment required to treat gingivitis and mild cases of periodontitis.

Sealants Dental

Sealants are thin plastic coatings that are applied to the grooves on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to protect them from tooth decay. Most tooth decay in children and teens occurs on these surfaces. Sealants protect the chewing surfaces from tooth decay by keeping germs and food particles out of these grooves.

Oral Hygiene Education

Home care tooth brushing and flossing is the most important part of tooth care at home. Brushing and flossing properly, along with regular dental checkups, can help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
