It's so easy and fast

While we normally operate using the best infection control protocols and technologies, we have introduced more avenues for ensuring patient safety in our clinic. These include person-to-person barriers, surface disinfection and scrubbing of every operatory and front desk surface, and we have furnished out clinic with the highest quality Air Purification units available. We take pride in meeting and exceeding Public Health standards in every category.

BARRIERS
While treating patients, our staff will use N95 masks, procedural gowns and face shields. N95 masks are designed to filter at least 95% of airborne particles and remains the Gold Standard in preventing any transmission. The extra procedural gowns and face shields add an additional barrier to shield the face.

SURFACE SANITIZATION
We constantly spray down and clean all operatory walls and surfaces in between patients, as well as disinfect front desk surfaces using hospital-grade Germicides. This is in addition to thoroughly washing our hands each time we change gloves, contact surfaces, or change rooms, and we encourage our patients to do the same. We believe our office is more sterile of a setting than any other retail locations visited on a daily basis.

SURGICALLY CLEAN AIR
Our medical-grade Air Purifiers are commonly used in Hospital Rooms and Surgical Operatories all over North America. These air purifiers contain 6 stages that remove particles such as odors, gases, mold, allergens and viruses by incorporating high-grade Hepa Filters, and UV light to purify the air in our clinic. Medical and air purification experts who wish to ensure their own safety by relying on a sterile environment turn to the same technology used in our clinic.

Infection controls and universal precautions protect clients and staff alike. Everyone benefits from rigorous infection control — you, your dentist, and the dental team. In addition to the previously mentioned patient protection protocols we recently added, we have always used other measures to maintain a healthy space.

STERILIZATION CENTRE
Our instruments and equipment gets put through a hospital-grade washer which cleans 99.9% of contagions. Deionized water and medical disinfectant bleach are specially applied to allow optimum cleaning performance. Following this stage, each item is placed in our autoclave machines to be rendered completely sterile.

We incorporate three different types of autoclaves which kill bacteria, viruses, and spores by using steam, heat and pressure to render any reusable equipment sterile and safe. Each entry is recorded in a log and biological monitoring kits and spore tests are done for every load.

DIGITAL RECORDS
Our clinic is 100% digital. From the Patient Information Entry on the electronic tablets provided upon entry, to the low-radiation dose X-rays, to the patient forms, we have taken the steps to become paperless to minimize the use of pen and paper being shared amongst individuals. This has allowed us to be more streamlined and provide for quicker appointments as well as optimize the safety of our patients.

HEALTH HISTORY
Before every visit, our team reviews the health history of our patients and checks for any updates. We also screen patients before they enter the clinic to make sure there are no signs of sickness. Due to the fact that some illnesses do not present with symptoms at the beginning of onset, we take universal precautions with every patient.

SINGLE USE DEVICES
Whenever possible, we try to use disposable single use devices that come into contact with a patient to minimize risk of contamination. These include disposable suction tips, gowns, and barriers for handles in the operatories.
