DR. BOB ZARICZNIAK
Raised in Hamilton, Dr. Bogdan (Bob) Zariczniak completed his undergraduate studies at McMaster University and went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Zariczniak has deep roots in the community – from his high school days at Bishop Ryan Secondary to years of competitive soccer on the Hamilton Mountain. As such, he is thrilled to be serving the dental needs of his hometown. He and his staff strive to make every dental experience comfortable and inviting for their patients. Whether you are coming to Stonehill Dental for your first visit, or you are a long-standing friend, you will find Dr. Bob’s engaging personality and gentle touch refreshingly down to earth. Dr. Bob takes great pride in helping people maintain their oral health and giving his patients the confidence of a beautiful smile. He finds comprehensive dentistry the most rewarding and believes that restoring a person’s appearance can be a life enhancing experience. “The most important thing is to listen to your patients”, says Dr. Bob. “My goal is to help patients keep their smiles looking their very best and feeling their healthiest.
DONNA ZAPORA - ADMINISTRATIVE AND SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Donna’s smile is the first one you will see when you enter Stonehill Dental and her warming laugh will be the last thing you hear on your way out. She has over twenty years of Dental Reception and Administrative experience, and for the last fifteen years she has been Stonehill’s administrative and scheduling coordinator, overseeing the function and efficiency of our practice. Her warm welcome will greet you and will put you at ease right from the start. Should Donna ever be a contestant in the Miss Universe Pageant, her one wish would be to grant world peace.
LARYSA ZARICZNIAK - ADMINISTRATIVE AND SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Larysa was raised in Hamilton but has lived throughout Europe for a few years. She has had many years of administrative experience and is willing to learn from and experience new things. If any patients need anything explained, she will be more than happy to go through any questions and concerns they have so they leave the office happy. She loves history, reading books, spending time with her husband and cat, Pani, and travelling the world.
LYNN BOMMARITO - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Lynn is a practicing hygienist and has been in the field for more than thirty years. She has achieved many certificates that have helped patients promote their optimal dental health. These achievements include Soft Tissue Management, Periodontal Therapy, Laser Therapy and Orthodontics. Lynn is a valued team member to our Stonehill Dental practice.
VERA BOZICKOVIC - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Vera is a highly skilled dental hygienist focused on result oriented periodontal therapies. She has been with the practice for almost 30 years with a loyal following of patients. Vera is a strong force for advocating a healthy oral environment, continually evolving with current technologies. She firmly believes in educating, educating & more educating, and her unique ability to connect, motivate, and inspire patients makes her a valuable asset to the team.
RAQUEL SEIXEIRO - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Raquel has been a practicing dental hygienist for 9 years. She is committed to working alongside her patients in a collaborative effort to help them achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She is passionate about learning and educating her patients on the most current dental therapies. Her calming demeanor and personal touch keeps everyone at ease during appointments. In her free time, Raquel enjoys travelling and working on home renovations projects with her fiance.
IZABELLA CHMIEL - REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Izabella (or Iza as she is better known) brings over 16 years of dental hygiene experience. She is fluent in English and Polish and ensures that the patient enjoy a calm and caring atmosphere during their dental appointments. Her attention to detail and professional enthusiasm is very regarded by her patients. She takes pride in promoting healthy oral hygiene and staying current with all new techniques.
SHONNA HIGSON - CERTIFIED LEVEL II DENTAL ASSISTANT
As unusual as it may seem, Shonna has always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child, which eventually led her to become a Certified Dental Assistant Level II. She commenced her career in dentistry over eight years ago and hasn’t looked back. Shonna strives to build relationships with her patients and finds their trust very important and rewarding. Going to work every day is a new experience and another opportunity to ensure her patients feel comfortable and have them smiling along the way. Shonna’s favourite part of working at Stonehill Dental is their encouragement for continued education and utilizing individual strengths to constantly improve the practice.
JESSY TOKARCHUK - CERTIFIED LEVEL II DENTAL ASSISTANT
Jessy is a Certified Dental Assistant Level II, a great addition to our team and our youngest member here at Stonehill Dental. Jessy’s personality will brighten everyone’s day and leave you with a smile. She admires her career and wishes to achieve the highest of accomplishments. Jessy is also a very accomplished musician and in her spare time sings in a band and performs at various concerts over Ontario.
